This Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on https://sicarchives.com and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to recognise your device, remember your choices, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies, including pixels, tags and browser local storage, and refer to all of them in this Policy as "cookies".
A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your device until it expires or you delete it. A first-party cookie is set by us; a third-party cookie is set by another organisation whose service we use.
We group cookies into two categories: strictly necessary cookies, which are always on, and analytics and marketing cookies, which are set only if you accept them.

Analytics and marketing. Set only if you accept them. They tell us how the Site is used, in aggregate, and connect your activity on the Site to our email marketing.

When you first visit the Site, a banner asks for your consent. Non-essential cookies are not set unless and until you accept them. You may accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew it. When you withdraw consent, the analytics and marketing identifiers already set on your device are deleted.
We ask for your consent again every 12 months, and whenever we add a new purpose or a new third-party provider.
Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them in future. The relevant settings are usually found under "Privacy", "Security" or "Site settings". Blocking all cookies will prevent parts of the Site, including checkout, from working.
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services appear on the Site, such as embedded video players, social media buttons, payment providers, analytics providers and our email marketing provider. We do not control those cookies. Their use of any data collected is governed by their own privacy notices: Google (policies.google.com/privacy) and Klaviyo (klaviyo.com/legal/privacy).
